In the history of this region, Al-Barkat Trust Hospital was the first in the private sector to introduce a fully equipped Emergency Department — a milestone in community healthcare.

- 3 qualified doctors covering shifts, backed by the consultant panel
- Staff fully trained in resuscitation
- All diagnostic facilities — X-ray, ultrasound, lab — at the disposal of the Emergency Department

Anaesthesia
The development of surgical anaesthesia is one of the most important discoveries in human history. All modern surgery depends upon anaesthesia services and surgical asepsis procedures, which provide safe and reliable techniques — making the Department of Anaesthesia one of the most elaborate and technical departments in any hospital.
Highlights:
- Three operation theatres — major general surgery, minor/medium surgery, and gynaecological surgery
- Each operation theatre has its own anaesthesia machine and monitoring facility
- General, regional, spinal, and epidural anaesthesia as per patient need
- Full compliance with international patient safety and asepsis standards
